W. Jason Cook, MD, FACS
Dr. Cook practices general adult and pediatric urology.
His special interests include advanced urologic laparoscopy and
other minimally invasive techniques used to treat a wide variety of
urologic disorders. He is one of the few urologists in Oklahoma
with training and experience in laparoscopic removal of the kidney
for benign and malignant diseases as well as renal transplantation.
Medical management and prevention of stone disease is another
strong area of interest. Dr. Cook earned his undergraduate degree
at Oklahoma State University and medical degree from the University
of Oklahoma. He then received his surgical and urologic training
from the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington,
Kentucky. Dr Cook is the Chief of Urology at SouthCrest Hospital.
He actively participates in medical education as a Clinical
Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa.
