What is a Urologist?
A physician and surgeon who diagnoses and treats diseases of the
genitourinary system in men, women and children. They are trained
to diagnose, treat and manage patients for the male and female
urinary systems and the male reproductive system. The organs
covered by urology include the kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters,
urinary bladder, urethra and the male organs testes, prostate,
epididymis, penis, vas deferens and seminal vesicles.
